Juanita Glorsine Oetterer, 75, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.
Juanita was born in Licking, Missouri on December 13, 1944, the daughter of the late Virgil & Hazel (Crabtree) James.
She was the widow of Howard J. Oetterer. They were united in marriage on August 26, 1961, in Montgomery City, Missouri. Howard preceded her in death on July 4, 2001.
Juanita was a housewife and she also enjoyed helping her husband in his recycling business. She also enjoyed baking.
Juanita is survived by a son, Lester Oetterer, of Hermann, Missouri; by two sisters, Cathleen Hoffman, of Washington, Missouri; and Nellie Woolsy, of Fulton, Missouri; a brother, Rabin James, of Mountain View, Missouri.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Randy Oetterer, a brother Roy James, a sister Frieda Clark and an infant sister Wanda Louise James.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 4th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann. Memorials may be given to the cemetery. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
**Visitation and funeral services will be open to the public. People that are attending the visitation or funeral will be asked to maintain social distancing, 6 ft. The capacity and seating may be limited, and people are welcome to and, indeed, are encouraged to wear face masks to protect themselves and others.
