Joyce Fay (Greenwell) Sieg

Joyce Fay Sieg, 93, of Montgomery City, MO, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Joyce was born in New Florence, Missouri on November 20, 1930, the daughter of the late Joseph Richard & Mary (Loane) Greenwell.

She was the wife of Louis V. Sieg.  They were united in marriage on July 17, 1948 at  St. Paul E & R Church, Hermann, MO.   Together they shared 76 years of marriage.  Lou survives at the home.

Joyce is also survived by a daughter, Karen Broeker & husband James, of Truxton, Missouri; a son, Michael Sieg & wife Kay, of St. Charles, Missouri; a daughter, Sherry Weiss & husband Kirk, of Defiance, Missouri; a sister, Mary Lea Mellott & husband James, of Fenton, Missouri; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and her beloved Beagle Tracy.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and seven sisters.

Joyce was affiliated with the United Church of Christ.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, canning, deer & turkey hunting, fishing and she was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Florence, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m.
 
Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Big Spring.  Memorials may be given to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. James Cemetery.
