Martin "Marty" Davis Jr. passed away April 8, 2021 at the University Of Missouri, Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Marty was born June 28, 1947 at Effingham, Illinois the son of the late John Martin Davis and Freda Madonna (nee Hubbartt) Davis.
He proudly served his county in the U.S. Navy. He was a 49 Year member of the Greenland Masonic Lodge #0665 A.F. & A. M., Beecher City, IL. Marty was a mechanical engineer and he worked for several companies including Koch Industries and CF Industries. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. After his retirement he moved back to Hermann, Missouri where he found a house and some property where he could enjoy the outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a special friend Beverly Sue Fredrick.
He is survived by his cousins Tom Phillips, Huntsville, Mo; Marsha Kinder & husband Lloyd, Beecher City, IL; Mitzi Spencer and husband Victor, Baton Rouge, LA; and James Aitken, Beecher City, IL
Graveside Services will be held, Friday April 16th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, Missouri.
Memorial are suggested to the Hermann Area Crusade for Cancer.
