Jenny Lee Stiers

Jenny Lee Stiers, 87, of Washington, MO, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Emmaus Home where she had been a resident since 1966.

Jenny was born in Rhineland, Missouri on April 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Parker & Louise (Theissen) Stiers.

Jenny is survived by two sisters, Nell Walkenbach and Fredia "Moe" Peters, both of Hermann, a sister-in-law, Velora Stiers, of Hermann, and by many nieces and nephews.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, James Stiers & wife Betty, Harold Stiers & wife Betty, William Stiers & wife Shirley, and Bonny Stiers, a sister, Ruby Jackisch, and three brothers-in-law, Herbert Walkenbach, Reuben Peters and Daniel Jackisch.

Jenny's family will always remember and be grateful to the Emmaus family, friends and staff who made Jenny's life so full.  They did so much for her.  Whoever met Jenny along the way would not forget her.  She met a lot of people over the years and again the thanks goes to the Emmaus family for that.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 3rd from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be at St. Marcus Cemetery, Rhineland, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Emmaus Home. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
