Janetta E. (Moffet) Brown

Janetta E. Brown, 102, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at Victorian Place of Hermann.

Janetta was born in Richmond, Missouri on January 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Clint & Nancy (Bryan) Moffet.

She was the widow of William Brown.  He preceded her in death in 1997.

Janetta was a homemaker, but during WWII she worked at General Mills Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was a member of the Athenian Society and Order of Eastern Star, Kansas City.

Janetta enjoyed painting and doing pottery and she was very devoted to her family.

Janetta is survived by a daughter-in-law, Kristine Puchta-Brown, of Brazil; three grandchildren, Wayne Brown & wife Elizabeth, of Berger, Missouri; Aaron Brown & wife Olivia, of Brazil and Sarah Brown, of Tennessee.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Floyd Brown.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to Order of Eastern Star, Hermann Chapter.
