James Dean Hill

James Dean Hill, 61, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at his home.

James was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 17, 1959, the son of the late Edwin G. Hill & Murealdean (Murray) Carlisle.

He was the husband of Della M. (Strauss) Hill.  They were united in marriage on October 27, 1979, in Bellflower, Missouri. 

James was a welder.  He was also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church where he officiated many weddings.

James is survived by his wife, Della Hill, of the home; by three daughters, Jessica Riggins & husband Jimmy, of Morrison, Missouri; Kiristie Hogue & husband Jim, of Montgomery City, Missouri; and Angela Stratman & husband Jason, of Wentzville, Missouri; by granddaughters, Desiree and Terri McPhee, Adelynn Hogue and Alexis and Isabelle Stratman; grandsons, James Hagedorn, and Jacob and Ethan Hogue and two sisters, Debra Johnson, of Wright City, Missouri; and Barbara Sisson & husband Roy, of Bowling Green, Missouri. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmy Darrel Hill and George Judd, Jr., two sisters, Mellissa Sanchez and Tonya Judd and a grandson, Matthew James Hogue.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m.
