Jacqueline Murphy Obituary

Jacqueline Marie Murphy (nee Kuharchik), 59, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at her home. 

Jacqueline was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on January 18, 1965, the daughter of Walter Jr. & Marie (Charney)Kuharchik.

She was the wife of Leonard Murphy. They were united in marriage on October 23, 2004, in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Jacqueline was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port Hudson, Missouri, St. Francis Borgia Church, Washington, Missouri, and St. Gerald Church, Gerald, Missouri. She loved God and was dedicated to her faith. 

Jacqueline cleaned for several parishes in the Franklin County area. She previously worked for Fed-Ex, was a life guard in Ocean City, Maryland, and did title search work for several years in Harrisburg, PA. 

In her free time Jacqueline enjoyed skiing, hiking, going on float trips, traveling, reading, and gardening. She was very health conscious and loved being a mom to Ryan. 

Jacqueline is survived by her father, Walter Kuharchik Jr. of West Pittston, PA; her husband Leonard Murphy, of New Haven, MO; her son, Ryan Murphy, of New Haven, MO; two brothers, Walter Kuharchik III, of West Wyoming, PA; and Michael Kuharchik (Arlene), of West Wyoming, PA; a step brother, George Stuscavage, of North Port, Florida; a step sister Dodie Lynn Stuscavage, of West Pittston, PA; step mother, Rhoda Kuharchik, of West Pittston, PA; brother-in-law Ed Murphy (Sherry), of Oakville, MO; two sisters-in-law, Chris Futhey (Michael), of Webster Groves, MO; and Maureen Murphy & fiance Rick Comello, of St. Louis, MO, and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Kuharchik, and her niece, Haley Stuscavage. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven. 

A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June 13th at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Port Hudson, with Father Jim Foster officiating. 

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
