Jacob W. Leicht

Jacob W. Leicht, 87, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at StoneBridge Hermann.

Jacob proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Hermann, Missouri.

Jacob worked as an insulator for Union Electric until his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, playing cards and cutting fire wood.

Jacob is survived by his wife Norma Leicht, of the home; two daughters, Terri Henzler & husband Steve, of St. Louis, Missouri; and Cindy Rose & husband Eugene, of Williamsville, Missouri; a son, Gary Leicht & wife Ann, of Hermann, Missouri, by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Hermann,  with Rev. William Zastrow officiating. 

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, with full military honors.
