Herbert McDaris

Herbert McDaris, 62, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. He was born in St. Charles, Missouri on January 24, 1960, a son of the late Beatrice  G.  (Williams) and Johnnie  E. McDaris.

He worked as a Control Engineer at Henniges Automotive, he previously worked at  Georgia Pacific and also Integram in Pacific, Mo.

He was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson. 

Herbert was the widower of Darleen Mary (Cartwright) McDaris. They were married on August 10, 1993 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson. 

Herbert is survived by three daughters, Tina Weiser, of Washington, MO; Mandi McDaris and husband Nicholas, of Hermann, MO and Tracy Weiser, of New Haven, MO; by a son, Eric McDaris, of Gasconade, Missouri and by15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, by one sister Peggy Smith, and two brothers Clay and Jeff McDaris.

Herbert enjoyed watching school sporting events.  He loved to fish and shoot his guns, but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and making people happy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23rd, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Mo.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 24th, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Port Hudson, Missouri, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. James Wilshusen officiating. 

Burial will be at Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery, Port Hudson, Missouri.  Family request donations to New Haven High School or Franklin County R-2 School.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
