Harold James "Jim" Brunner, Jr., 65, of Hermann, MO, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.
Jim was born in Oakland, California on August 15, 1956, the son of Harold J. Sr. & Esther E. (Simpson) Brunner.
He was the husband of Tracy (Edwards) Brunner. They were united in marriage on March 18, 2005, in Florissant, Missouri.
Jim was a Police Lieutenant for Woodson Terrace Police Department where he worked for 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and barbecuing and grilling.
Jim is survived by his parents, Harold Sr. & Esther Brunner, of Prior Lake, Minnesota; his wife, Tracy Brunner, of Hermann, Missouri; a daughter, Jamie Miller, of Decatur, Illinois; a son, Zachary Dawson & wife Angie, of Hermann, Missouri; a daughter, Tiffany Brunner, of Maryland Heights, Missouri; a daughter, Riley Dawson, of Hermann, Missouri; a son, Travis Dawson, of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Douglas Brunner & wife Sheri, of Prior Lake, Minnesota; by nine grandchildren, Aubree, Macee, Thomas, Adriana, Rayden, Nova, Lucas, Braylynn and Robert, by one great grandchild, Brynlee; his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Gary & Glenda Edwards, of Florissant, Missouri; numerous nephews and nieces, and lifelong friends, Art & Kathy Ruebel and Dan & Shirley Thompson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m.
