Harold Bish Jr., 96, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Falls at StoneBridge Senior Living.
Harold was born in Hinkley, Illinois on May 25, 1928, the son of the late Harold W. & Ella B. (Reidelsperger) Bish.
Harold started flying when he was 16 years old and was later drafted in the United States Army during the Korean War. After being discharged from the Army he started flight instructing and later in 1958 started flying commercially for Ozark Airlines.
He met his wife Mary Lynn (Tree) Cook when she was a flight attendant and they were married in 1969. Together they had three sons. They moved to Hermann in 1979.
Harold is survived by his wife Tree Bish, of Hermann; three sons Eric Bish, of Hermann; Ryan Bish, of Columbia, Missouri; and Tracy Bish, of Tillimook, Oregon.
Harold loved to give airplane rides and travel. He also enjoyed camping and hiking.
Per Harold's wishes, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be given to Heartland Hospice or Hermann Hospital.
