Georgia Ann Rohlfing, 80, of New Haven, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her home.
Georgia was born in Berger, Missouri on February 22, 1940, the daughter of the late Harry & Louise (Bruening) Schulte. Georgia's mother passed away at the age of three. She was then raised by Elmer & Amanda Kropp.
She was the wife of Lloyd W. Rohlfing. They were united in marriage on June 28, 1958 at St. James Church, Stony Hill. Lloyd survives her at the home.
Georgia is also survived by three children, two sons, Roger Rohlfing & wife Linda, of Washington, Missouri; and Mark Rohlfing & wife Shirley, of New Haven, Missouri; and a daughter, Annette Witthaus & husband Gilbert, of Hermann, Missouri; by two brothers, Carroll Schulte, of Greensboro, North Carolina and Donald "Donnie" Schulte, of Hermann, Missouri; by two sisters-in-law, Gladys Schulte, of Hermann, Missouri; and Shirley Bargen, of St. Louis, Missouri; by seven grandchildren, Megan Hoerstkamp & husband Zack, of New Haven, Missouri; Jessica Gildehaus & husband Jason, of Washington, Missouri; Michaela Rohlfing & fiance Christopher Rockenbach, of Wilmington, North Carolina; Rachel Kertz & husband Tanner, of Washington, Missouri; Joshua Witthaus & wife Kallie, of Berger, Missouri; Keaton Rohlfing & special friend Gayle, of St. Louis, Missouri; and Brooke Witthaus & special friend Dylan, of Winfield, Missouri, and by eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother James Schulte and a sister Shirley Speckhals.
Georgia enjoyed going antique shopping, working in her flower bed, fishing, piecing quilt blocks and especially spending time with her family.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 14th from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill. Memorials may be given to the cemetery. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
