George Henry Van Booven

George Henry Van Booven, 68, of St. Clair, Missouri, formerly of Berger, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri. 

George was born in Berger, Missouri on October 23, 1954, the son of the late George P. & Adaline A. (Will) Van Booven.

George was a member of St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri.  He worked for the Sheltered Workshops in Hermann, Washington, and Sullivan for 50 years until his retirement.  

George was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. For many years George was a consumer of Developmental Services of Franklin County where he quickly became a favorite of those who supported him.

George is survived by cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his dog Lucky.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 20th from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Berger, Missouri, where a funeral mass will follow at 10:00 a.m., with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Church.
