Gary Lee McGinnis

Gary Lee McGinnis, 68, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at his home. 

Gary was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 12, 1954, the son of the late Fred & Virginia (Koch)   McGinnis.

He was united in marriage to Peggy J. (Reimund) McGinnis on June 30, 1973, in  Jefferson City, Missouri.  Peggy preceded him in death on January 18, 2022.

Gary was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven. He worked for Bommarito Automotive Group in Ellisville for most of his career. 

In his free time he enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was an amateur boxer and enjoyed the sport.

Gary is survived by three daughters, Kelly Clark & husband Matt, of New Haven; Jennifer Borcherding & husband Dale, of New Haven; and Maureen LaBruyere & husband Stephen, of New Haven; by seven grandchildren, Lydia, Alayna, Hannah, Nicholas, Julia, Arianna and Micah, by a sister, Kathy Williams, of New Haven and by several brother & sisters-in-law.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Dan Smith officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery,  New Haven. Memorials may be given to Washington MO Police Dept.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
