Gary R. Hoover

Gary R. Hoover, 73, of, Big Spring, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at his home.

Gary was born in Eldorado Springs, Missouri on January 6, 1949, the son of the late Robert Dale & Nadine (Sibley) Hoover.

He was the husband of Lois (Anderson) Hoover.  They were united in marriage on June 12, 1971, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nevada, MO. 

Gary has been the face and force behind Endless Summer Winery in Big Spring.  He loved telling stories and entertaining customers.

Gary is survived by his wife Lois Hoover, three children, Mark Hoover, Angie Hoover, and Laura Castaneda, six grandchildren, a sister, Pat Bess, a brother, Dennis Hoover, many sisters & brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Father Philip Niekamp officiating. 

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. George School.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
