Gary R. Brautigam

Gary R. Brautigam, 71, of New Haven, MO, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at Sunset Health Care Center, Union,  Missouri. 

Gary was born in Hermann, Missouri on August 16, 1950, the son of Robert G. & Mildred M. (Elfline) Brautigam.

He attended East Central College in Union then went to Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, where he graduated with his Bachelor's Degree.

Gary was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, New Haven and Harmony House.  He worked as a custodian for the University of Missouri Columbia.  He also worked several jobs in New Haven, including Langenburg Hat Factory, Kellwood and the Machine Shop and also for Permaneer in Union. 

Gary was an avid New Haven Shamrock supporter and a loyal St. Louis Cardinals Fan.  He was devoted to taking care of his mother, reading the bible daily and loved going for walks.

Gary is survived by his mother, Millie Brautigam, of New Haven; two brothers, Terry Brautigam, of New Haven, and Denny Brautigam, of Fulton, Missouri; by his nieces and nephews, Lynn, Jason, Heather, Sara and Andrew and by great niece & nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church, New Haven, with Pastor Tim Sperduto officiating. 

Burial will be at Swiss Evangelical Reformed Cemetery, Swiss, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to the family or Memorial Baptist Church.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
