Frank G. Struttman, 87, of McKittrick, MO, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Stonebridge Hermann.
Frank was born in Rhineland, Missouri on April 8, 1934, the son of the late Frank Struttman & Laura (Van Booven) Struttman.
He was the husband of Mary A. (Meyer) Struttman. They were united in marriage on December 3, 1960, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann.
Frank was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann. He worked in quality control for Home Inc. in Hermann for many years and during that time he was also part owner of Loutre Gas Station and Cafe.
Frank was known as a prankster and was a very outgoing person who never met a stranger. In his free time Frank enjoyed gardening, working in the woods cutting fire wood, riding in the gas truck with his son Chad, spending time with his Yorkies that he and Mary raised, and spending time with his family. In his younger years Frank was a mechanic and loved to work on cars. He passed this knowledge and love on to his children.
Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Struttman, of McKittrick, a son, Frank Struttman III & wife Ellen, of Hermann; a daughter, Shelly Abbott & husband John "Moose", of Hermann, Missouri; a daughter, Christine Steiner & husband Cecil, of Hermann, Missouri; a son, Mike Struttman & wife Donna, of McKittrick, Missouri; a son, Chad Struttman & wife Charlotte, of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Doug Struttman, of Hermann, Missouri; three sisters, LaFern O'Keefe, of St. Charles, Missouri; Shirley Baur & husband Don, of St. Charles, Missouri; and Verlee Drury & husband Al, of Bridgeton, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Berniece Struttman, of Louisiana, Missouri; and Ruth Ann Meyer, of St. Peters, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Ed Meyer, of Destin, Florida; and Eldon Meyer & wife Maggie, of Hermann, Missouri; by three grandsons, Nick, Ryan and Colby Struttman and one granddaughter, Shelby Parr and husband Jaret, four great grandchildren, Serenity and Dalton Struttman and Kayden & Kamden Parr and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Cyril and Eugene Struttman and two sisters, Nadine Sullivan and Clara Mae Blankenship.
A visitation will be held Saturday, February 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
