Eugene V. Noelke

Eugene V. Noelke, 80, of Washington, MO, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home.

Eugene was born in Washington, Missouri on February 13, 1943, the son of the late Anthony & Lucille (Brinkmann) Noelke.

He was the husband of Barbara (Meyer) Noelke.  They were united in marriage on June 21, 1969  at Assumption Church, New Haven, Missouri. 

Eugene proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves.  He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Washington, Missouri, the Elks Lodge #1559 and American Legion Post #218, both of Washington. 

Eugene was a meat cutter and manager for River Town Foods in Washington, Missouri.  In his free time he enjoyed doing woodworking, painting, fishing, traveling in his younger years and he was St. Louis Blues fan.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Barbara Noelke, of Washington, Missouri; a daughter, Jan Brinker and husband Mark, of Villa Ridge, Missouri; a son, Craig Noelke, of New Haven, Missouri; a daughter Lynn Noelke, of Troy, Missouri; by three brothers, James Noelke and wife Emilie, of Washington, Missouri; Bill Noelke and wife Judy, of Washington, Missouri; and Alan Noelke, of Washington, Missouri; and two grandchildren, Patricia & Andrew

No services will be held at this time.  Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri.  Barbara would like to give a special thank you to Krissy Zumsteg, the grandchildren's mother, and everyone for their love and support.
