Elenora Lena (Nicks) Pelster

Elenora Lena Pelster, 98, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at New Haven Care Center.

Elenora was born in Gerald, Missouri on January 1, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles & Clara (Brandt) Nicks.

She was the widow of Lester Pelster.  They were united in marriage on June 14, 1941, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, New Haven. Lester preceded her in death on April 20, 1996.

Elenora was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven. She was a homemaker and also did baby sitting in her home for her grandchildren and neighbors. 

Elenora is survived by a daughter, Ramona Ruediger & husband Rudy, of New Haven, Missouri; a son,Vernon Pelster & wife Michelle, of New Haven, Missouri; by nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Elona Schowe, her sisters, Helen Nolting, Henrietta Holter, Lilly Zimmer, and Alberta Nicks and brothers, Herbert, George, Alfred and William Nicks.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home,  New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Haven, with Rev. William Zastrow officiating. 

Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to New Haven Care Center or Trinity Lutheran Church.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
