Dwain H. Brooks

Dwain H. Brooks, 79, of Berger, MO, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.

Dwain was born in Pritchett, Colorado on November 25, 1942, the son of the late George Brooks & Arthenia (Hardy) Brooks.

He was the husband of Alice (Boyer) Brooks.  They were united in marriage on April 25, 1992, in Carney, Missouri. 

Dwain was an over the road & local truck driver.   In his free time he enjoyed making ink pins and clocks, and playing horseshoes.  He loved to go camping and spend time with family, especially his grandkids.

Dwain is survived by a daughter, Lisa Spell, of Springfield, Colorado; a daughter, Teresa Orosco, of Springfield, Colorado; a son, Tim Brooks & wife Sandi, of Thorton, Colorado; a daughter, Marissa Warner, of North Glenn, Colorado; a son, Don Brooks, of New Haven, Missouri; a son, Darrell Boyer & wife Leesa, of Hermann, Missouri; and daughter, Kathy Valley & husband Tommy, of Owensville, Missouri; by two sisters, Loretta Sheldon & husband Wayne, of Pritchett, Colorado; and Frances Dixon, of Kansas; a brother, Burl Brooks & wife Diane, of Kansas, by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, George Brooks

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri, with Pastor Larry Jones officiating.  Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
