Doris (Wright) Quanty

Lena Doris Quanty, 93, of Jonesburg, MO, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020, in Washington, Missouri.

Doris was born in Jonesburg, Missouri on March 11, 1927, a daughter of the late Robert Henry & Edna (Snedeker) Wright.

She was the widow of Paul Quanty.  They were united in marriage on November 22, 1946.  Paul preceded her in death in 1999.

Doris was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Jonesburg, Missouri.  She was the sexton of the Oak Grove Cemetery.   In her free time Doris loved walking the creeks and collecting rocks.  She would then polish and paint them.

Doris is survived by two sons, Daniel Quanty & wife Donna, of Washington, Missouri; and Ronald G., Quanty & wife Harriet, of St. Louis, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy, Jamie and Catherine, two great grandchildren, by a brother, Glenn Wright, and four sisters, Hazel Hawkins, Imogene Theisen, Mary Lou Taylor, and Donna Wilde.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers, Arnold & Neil Wright.

Services will be private.  Memorials may be given to Oak Grove Cemetery.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
