Donna (VanVelkinburgh) Timmerberg

Donna Timmerberg, 78, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Donna was born in Quincy, Illinois on December 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Alan & Iola (Cook) VanVelkinburgh.

She was the widow of Wendell "Pete" Lloyd Timmerberg.  They were united in marriage on November 26, 1998, at Loutre Island Church, McKittrick, Missouri.   Wendell preceded her in death on October 31, 2010.

Donna worked as an LPN at Frene Valley Nursing Home in Hermann. 

She is survived by a son, Andrew Strieker & wife Priscilla Gonzales, of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Nikki Maynard & husband Jeffrey, of Rifle, Colorado; a step son, Craig Timmerberg & wife Susan, of Montgomery City, Missouri; two step daughters, Cara Santaularia & husband Paul, of Shawnee, Kansas; and Nancy Myrick & husband Robert, of Waterloo, Illinois; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four siblings, Vernon VanVelkinburgh, Bill Chezem, Ramone Chezem and Vana Langdon.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Big Spring Cemetery, Big Spring, Missouri. 

Memorials donations may be given to Alzheimers Association.
