Donald Alber Obituary

Donald L. Alber, 55, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home.

Donald was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 28, 1965, the son of the late Larry Alber & Joan (Umbright) Witzel.

He was the husband of Linda (Greathouse) Alber. They were united in marriage on December 14, 2005. Linda survives at their home.

Donald is also survived by his step-father, Bud Witzel, of Hermann; two sons Nick Alber, of Foristell, Missouri; and Nathan Alber, of Fort Worth, Texas; three daughters, Sabra Greathouse, Mercedes Schnelting and Arial Osborne, all of Hermann, Missouri; a brother, Dan Alber & wife Amanda, of Wildwood, Missouri, and by 14 grandchildren.

Don worked at Village Market for many years as the deli manager. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, being in the outdoors and putting puzzles together.
