Diann Kay Fricke, 78, of Belle, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her daughter's home in Mount Vernon, Illinois, surrounded by her loving family.
She was was born on October 10, 1944 in Centralia, Illinois, to the late Charles and Irene (Bryant) Smith.
She married Kenneth Fricke on June 25, 1991, at their farm in Belle, Missouri. They have celebrated almost 32 years of marriage.
In addition to her beloved husband, Kenny, Diann is survived by her daughters: Christine (James) Hayes, Diana (Ray Bruce) Bauer, Bobbie Jo Bauer, and Connie (Scott) Dunham, and son, Mark (Paulette) Fricke, 24 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Charles & Irene Smith, Diann was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles & Phillip Smith, a sister, Virginia Cohlmeyer, granddaughter, Peyton Bauer, son, Bill Fricke, daughter, Jeanette Schwartz, two nieces and one nephew.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery in Hermann, MO.
Memorials may be given to SSM Health at Home-Hospice of IL.
