Dennis Edward Hoelscher, 77, of Wentzville, MO, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Jonesburg Nursing and Rehab, Jonesburg, Missouri.
Dennis was born in New Haven, Missouri on March 17, 1943, the son of the late Raymond & Pearl (Maupin) Hoelscher.
Dennis was the widower of Linda L. (Beuke) Hoelscher. They were united in marriage on December 28, 1989, in Troy, Missouri.
Dennis was a member of St. Patrick Church, Wentzville, Missouri, and the 212 Club. He was a auto worker and paint mixer for Ford Motor Company, Hazelwood, Mo, until his retirement. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed farming, taking care of animals, fishing, and model trains.
Dennis is survived by a daughter, Joyce Scott & husband Mike, of Wentzville, Missouri; three sons, Raymond Hoelscher & wife Kris, of Wentzville, Missouri; Mike Fozzard & wife Michelle, of Winfield, Missouri; and Mark Fozzard & wife Patty, of O'Fallon, Missouri; a sister, Arlene Humphrey, of Washington, Missouri; grandchildren, Ashley, Tina, Rachel, Jackie, Kayla, Rain, Joseph, Katie, Kimie, Eric, and Carole, and by three great grandchildren, Cloud, Skye and Summer. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda, a son, Matthew Fozzard, and a brother-in-law, William Humphrey.
A private service and burial were held at New Haven Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri. Memorials may be given to No Time To Spare Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Warrenton, MO. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
