Darline L. (Miller) Howell

Darline L. Howell passed away at home on March 15, 2023.  She was born in Berger, MO to Gus and Ida Bade Miller on Auguat 24, 1920.

Darline graduated from Hermann High School, Hermann, MO in 1937.  Following graduation, she went to work in Warrenton, MO where she met Wilbur “Red” Howell.  They married March 8, 1941 and were married 60 years before he passed.

Everyone who met her described her as amazing and she truly was!  There are not enough words to describe a life well lived for 102 years.

Darline was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Wilbur “Red” Howell; her son, Russell Howell; her brother, August “Sonnie” Miller; and a very special cousin, Mary Lou Phipps.  She is survived by a son, Randy (Linda) Howell of Port Orange, FL; a daughter, Lana (Robert) Price of Canandaigua, NY; a daughter-in-law, Amanda Howell of Santa Monica, Ca; seven grandchildren, Dena (Michael) Segbers, Jeffrey (Paula) Howell, Kelly (Nick) Tedesche, Matthew (Ruth) Price, Lydia (Jason) Schadler, Bridget Price, Ariana Howell; seven great-grandchildren, Shana (Stephen) McNamee, Mitchel (Brianna Gesler) Segbers, Paige (Brandon) Henning, Phoebe Tedesche, Ethan Price, Chloe Price, JJ Schadler; one great-great-grancdchild, William McNamee and many friends.

Memorials are suggested to St. John's Cemtery, Berger, Mo c/o Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.
