Daniel Thorpe McIntyre

Daniel Thorpe McIntyre, 86, of New Haven, MO, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.
 
Daniel was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 15, 1939, the son of the late Thorpe A. & Julia (Lowe) McIntyre.
 
He was united in marriage to Nancy June Noerteman on October 10, 1960 in Jefferson County, MO. They enjoyed 57 wonderful, loving years together, sharing the joys and hardships of life.  June preceded him in death on February 16, 2017.
 
Daniel was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Senate Grove, Missouri.  He worked at Chrysler in Fenton, where he worked as a tinner, later serving as UAW Local 136 President.
 
Daniel is survived by daughter, Susan McIntyre, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Daniel S. McIntyre & wife Jennifer, of New Haven, Missouri; daughter, Amy Pritchard, of Foristell, Missouri; and six grandchildren, Rosie, Julia, Erik, Emma, Megan & Lola. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and three brothers, James, William and Steven McIntyre.
 
A private graveside service at Immanuel United Methodist Cemetery, Senate Grove will be held at a later date.
 
Memorials may be given to Immanuel United Methodist Cemetery.
