Clarence Leo Boyer, 87, of Richland, MO, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at his home.
Clarence was born in Macon, Missouri on July 15, 1936, the son of the late Clarence C. & Hazel E. (Viers) Boyer.
He was the widower of Margaret (Prior) Boyer. They were married for over 50 years. Margaret preceded him in death on January 16, 2018.
Clarence worked as a fork lift driver for McGraw-Hill Book Publishing Company in Manchester, MO. He later worked part-time for the Missouri State Park System as a grounds keeper. In his free time Clarence loved spending time with his family, fishing and going on fishing tournaments and also hunting.
Clarence is survived by a son, Clarence Boyer Jr. & wife Sharry, of Naples, Florida; two step sons, Justin Craig & wife Claresa, of Murdock, Nebraska; and Harold Strait & wife Barbara, of Gerald, Missouri; a sister, Nona Unk, of Union, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a step son, James Lewis Craig.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Florence, where funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. George Prior officiating.
Burial will be at New Florence Cemetery. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
