Charmaine M. Klott, 87, of Hermann, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.
Charmaine was born in Hermann, Missouri on February 14, 1932, a daughter of the late Clarence & Louise (Kuhlmann) Baumstark.
She was united in marriage to Alfred V. Klott on September 26, 1953, at St. George Church, Hermann, MO. Alfred preceded her in death on January 11, 2018.
Charmaine was a life-long member of St. George Church, Hermann, and the church's ladies sodality. She was also a member of the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Charmaine worked at both Florsheim and International Shoe Companies for a few years and she was also a housewife. In her free time Charmaine loved to go bowling and played for many years in a league in Owensville. She also enjoyed going to the casino to gamble and going to the farm, where she enjoyed hunting. Charmaine will be remembered by her joking nature, sweet disposition, and her smile and hugs she loved to share with everyone.
Charmaine is survived by a sister, Eleanor Lloyd, of Holden, Missouri; a brother, Joe Baumstark, of Hermann, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Esther Davis & husband Pat, of Vancouver, British Columbia; and Dorothy Bokan, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by two sisters, Clarine Means, & Mary Ann Struttmann, by brothers-in-law, Jerry Means, Paul Struttmann, Clarence, Roman, Elmer, Julius, and Francis Klott, and sisters-in-law, Judy Baumstark, Lucille Faes, and Bernice Godefroid.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 16th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at St. George Church, where a funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley & Father David Means officiating.
Burial will be at St. George Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. George Church. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
