C. Albert "Abby" Kruse, 79, of Rhineland, MO, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home.
Albert was born in Carrollton, Missouri on January 26, 1941, the son of the late Herbert Albert & Anna Mildred (Miller) Kruse.
He was the husband of Roberta M. (Brueggemann) Kruse. They were united in marriage on March 2, 1963, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Washington, MO.
Albert was a member of St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri, Carpenter Union Local 1839 and he was a 4-H leader for many years.
Albert was a union carpenter, working mostly out of St. Louis. He also was a farmer most of his life. In his free time he loved spending time with family and he enjoyed deer & turkey hunting and fishing.
Albert is survived by his wife, Roberta Kruse, of the home; a daughter, Diane Gleeson & husband Luke, of Rhineland, Missouri; a son, Donald Kruse & fiance Lori Rackers, of Union, Missouri; a daughter, Darlene Kleinheider, of Rhineland, Missouri; by two brothers, Essel Kruse & wife Elaine, of Washington, Missouri; Orville Kruse & wife Cheryl Willkins, of Chino Valley, Arizona; by four grandchildren, April Pearson & husband Alan, of Casselton, North Dakota; Lara Pyatt & husband Ed, Hermann, Missouri; Levi Gleeson & wife Emily, of Hermann, Missouri and Kate Kleinheider & fiance Tim Stanley, Elk Grove Village, Illinois; by great grandchildren, Kemper, Kale, Knoxten, Kruz, Ky, and Kingsten Pearson, Brody & Holden Schales and Axel and Wrenly Gleeson, by a brother-in-law, Lawrence Brueggemann, of Montgomery City, Missouri, a sister-in-law, Joan Skornia, of Nokomis, Florida, brother-in-law, Ralph Brueggemann & wife Dee, of Villa Ridge, Missouri; brother-in-law Dennis Brueggemann & wife Lois, of Elmhurst, Illinois; brother-in-law, Cletus Brueggemann & wife Sue, of Denver, Colorado; brother-in-law, Gary Brueggemann & wife Nadine, of Warrenton, Missouri; sister-in-law, Janice Klenke & husband Rick, of Union, Missouri; brother-in-law, Wayne Brueggemann, of St. Louis, Missouri and brother-in-law, Roy Brueggemann & wife Amy, of Georgia.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill, Missouri, with Rev. Tom Lloyd officiating.
Burial will be at St. James Cemetery, Stony Hill, Missouri.
