Brian James Vogel

Brian James Vogel, 48, of Rhineland, MO, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Brian was born in Hermann, Missouri on July 4, 1973, the son of Bobbie L. & Evelyn Faye (Gloe) Vogel.

He was the husband of Jana (Zumsteg) Vogel.  They were united in marriage on August 3, 2002, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann. 

Brian was a self employed carpenter.  He previously worked for Zumsteg Construction Company of Rhineland. 

Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, especially Mopar Cars, going to car shows and spending time with family, especially his children.

Brian is survived by his father, Bobbie Vogel, of Hermann, Missouri; his wife, Jana Vogel and two children, Karley & Holt Vogel, all of the home; by two sisters, Candice Isaac, of Millstadt, Illinois; and Denise Kennedy & husband Kevin, of Morrison, Missouri; a brother, Donald Vogel & wife Christina, of Wellsville, Missouri; by brothers & sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Vogel and a son, Blake Vogel.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 3rd from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Matt Wheeler officiating. 

Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery,  McKittrick, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to a college fund for Brian's children.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
