Brenda Sue Meyer, 75, of Washington, MO, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 at New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri.
Brenda was born in Washington, Missouri on July 16, 1949, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. & Opal A. (Cox) Nappier.
She was the wife of John A. Meyer. They were united in marriage on May 14, 1977, at Assumption Church, New Haven, MO. Together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Brenda was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven and she was a active member of FBICC (Flow Blue International Collectors Club).
She was co-owner of M & N Daycare in St. Clair, MO and owner of Meyer Daycare in Washington, MO. She later went to work as an office manager for Wiemann & Pues Insurance Agency in Washington for 26 years.
Brenda is survived by her husband, John Meyer, of Washington, Missouri; a son, Benjamin Meyer, of Washington, Missouri; a sister, Doris Monk & husband Gordon, of St. Clair, Missouri; a brother, Rick Nappier & wife Corey, of Londell, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Ruth Nappier, of Lansing, Michigan; Catherine Schlatt, of Shelbina, Missouri; Barbara Noelke, of Washington, Missouri; Ruth Spaunhorst & husband Jerome, of Washington, Missouri and Malinda Meyer, of New Haven, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Anthony Meyer, of New Haven, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, Daniel Meyer, a brother, Bob Nappier, brothers-in-law, Leo Schlatt, Leo Meyer & wife Mary Ann, Bernard Meyer and Gene Noelke, and by a sisters-in-law, Dorothy Meyer and Marie Meyer.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
A memorial mass will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven.
Interment will be at Assumption Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri. Memorials may be given to New Haven Senior Center, Assumption Cemetery or Masses.
