Bobbie Lee Vogel, 81, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Stonebridge Hermann.
Bobbie was born in Case, Missouri on January 16, 1943, a son of the late Albert C. and Cora A. (Bratton) Vogel.
On October 16, 1965 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Faye Gloe at St. Joseph's Church, Rhineland, Missouri. Evelyn preceded him in death on March 21, 2022.
Bobbie was a member of St. George Church, Knights of Columbus and the Hermann Eagles and proudly served our country in the US Army National Guard.
He worked at Rexham Plastics, in Union for over 20 years. He was also a farmer. He enjoyed going to sales- auctions and collecting treasures of all kinds. He also enjoyed gardening, collecting and listening to classic country records, deer hunting and playing the lottery.
Bobbie is survived by a daughter, Candice Issac, of Mascoutah, Illinois; by a son, Donald Vogel and wife Christina, of Wellsville, Missouri; a daughter, Denise Kennedy and husband Kevin, of Morrison, Missouri, by a sister, Alverta Warner, Lake Ozark, Missouri; by 13 grandchildren, Ashley Taylor-Diaz, Brandelyn Taylor-Schunk, James, Christopher, Rebecca, Alexandria, Zackery, Karley and Holt Vogel, Allyson Branson, Christopher, Matthew and Jesse Kennedy. by 8 great -grandchildren Hunter Branson-Rowe, and Noah and Ryver Branson, Moses Vogel, Dustin, Destiny, Cameron and Felix Kennedy
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Cora Vogel, his wife Evelyn, a son, Brian Vogel and one grandson Blake Vogel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at St. George Church, Hermann, where a funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at St. George Cemetery, Hermann. Memorials may be given to St. Anthony's Cemetery.
