Billy Ray Wolf, 84, of Gasconade, MO, passed away suddenly Friday, May 15, 2026 in Seattle, Washington.
Billy was born in Gasconade, Missouri on March 29, 1942, the son of the late Chrissa & Georgia (West) Wolf.
He was united in marriage to Anita (Haeffner) Wolf on August 6, 1960, at Gasconade United Pentecostal Church. Together they shared 62 wonderful years of marriage. Anita preceded him in death on September 14, 2022.
Bill was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend who loved spending time with family and friends. He was an accomplished businessman and community servant, founding two thriving businesses and was a leader wherever he showed up. He was a member of the AFIB for over 30 years and served in various roles including National President. He served on numerous boards including his church, City Council, and 17 years on the Herman Area District Hospital Board and retired after serving as its President. Bills hobbies included hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was an amazing storyteller and a friend to all.
Bill is survived by two sons, Rev. Russell W. Wolf & wife Irene, of Grand Island, Nebraska and Chris A. Wolf & wife Stacey, of Morrison, Missouri; a granddaughter, Candace Wolf, of Grand Island, Nebraska, grandson, Nathanael Wolf, of Grand Island, Nebraska; granddaughter, Heather Gregory & husband Rev. Andrew, of Auxvasse, Missouri; grandson, Branden Wolf & wife Kaneasha, of Hermann, Missouri; granddaughter, Cadence Wolf, of Chillicothe, Missouri; three step grandsons, Ethan Chenault, of Columbia, Missouri; Tristan Chenault, of Jefferson City, Missouri; and Logan Prey, of St. Martin's, Missouri; four great grandsons, Alekzander, Solomon, Issobella and Asher Gregory; a brother-in-law, Kirk Haeffner & wife Lana, of St. Peters, Missouri; and a niece, Donnietta Kuebler & husband Rev. Doug, of Hermann, Missouri, along with numerous other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, Cindy Wolf, a brother, Buel Wolf and two great grandchildren, Jonah & Isiah.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church, Hermann, Missouri, with Rev. B.W. Masters and Rev. Doug Kuebler officiating.
Burial will be at Gasconade Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to First United Pentecostal Church or Gasconade Cemetery.
