Barbara Ann (Wynne) Vedder

Barbara Ann Vedder, 77, of Washington, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Cedarcrest  Manor, Missouri. 

Barbara was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 27, 1944, the daughter of the late Jessie D. & Anna M. (Jurisic) Wynne.

She was united in marriage to John Henry Vedder on April 24, 1965, at First Christian Church, Union, Missouri.  John preceded her in death on October 3, 1997.

Barbara was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven. She worked at Spartan Showcase in Union for many years as a sales person.  In her free time Barbara enjoyed shopping, traveling and she loved animals.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Toni Triplett & husband Kyle, of Washington, Missouri; and Laurie Duke & husband Kerry, of New Haven, Missouri; a sister, Jeanette Phelan & husband Mike, of Fenton, Missouri; a brother, Dennis Wynne & wife Marilyn, of Washington, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Courtney Borgmann, John Duke & wife Shanelle, Alaina Cooper & husband Ben and McKaela Alferman & husband Herbert, and great grandchildren, Dalton Duke, Dominic Borgmann, Paige Borgmann, Bennett Duke and baby Alfermann.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Diane Clapper.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 22nd from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Franklin County Humane Society.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
