Audrey Ann (Keirle) Pottebaum

Audrey Ann Pottebaum, 77, of Rhineland, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Audrey was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on October 4, 1943, the daughter of the late Vincent Waters & Annabelle (Lyles) Keirle.

She was united in marriage to Leo Paul Pottebaum on September 1, 1967 in St. Louis, Missouri.  They were married for 53 years.  Leo preceded her in death on December 24, 2020.

Audrey was a member of Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, Missouri, St. Ann Sodality and the Rhineland Fire Department Auxiliary. 

Throughout her working career she worked for Pea Ridge Forest, Hermann Area District Hospital and her last job before retirement was a sewer for Lennertson Sample Company. 

Audrey was a proficient seamstress, she enjoyed quilting, collecting stamps and going to auctions.

Audrey is survived by two daughters, Sue Clevenger, of Hermann, Missouri; and Sara Pottebaum, of Columbia, Missouri; two sisters, Joyce Sies, of Gillespie, Illinois; and Gayla Crites & husband Terry, of Gillespie, Illinois; a brother, Randy Keirle & wife Mary Ellen, of Swansea, Illinois, by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Tom Keirle.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 9th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, where a funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.

Burial is at St. Joseph's Cemetery,  Rhineland, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. Joseph's Cemetery or Rhineland Fire Dept.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
