Alverta May Warner, 90, of Eldon, MO, formerly of Hermann, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at her home.
Alverta was born in Dutzow, Missouri on December 11, 1934, the daughter of the late Albert & Cora (Bratton) Vogel.
She was the widow of Sylvan "Sonny" Warner. They were united in marriage on June 19, 1954, at St. George Church, Hermann, MO. Sonny preceded her in death on May 18, 2005.
Alverta was a member of St. George Church, Hermann. She worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory in the packing department. She enjoyed playing cards and being around her family.
Alverta is survived by a daughter, Sandra Oetterer, of Eldon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Denise Oetterer, of Rocky Mount, Missouri; Melissa Peters & husband Joey, of Camdenton, Missouri; and Benjamin Oetterer of Roach, Missouri; six great grandchildren, Dustin, Jeffrey and Alyson Baker, David & Kayla Peters and Elijah Brashear and a great-great granddaughter, Charlotte Baker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Sylvester Warner, a sister Darlene Dell and a brother Bobbie Vogel.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 2nd from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. A funeral mass will follow Friday at 12:00 p.m. at St. George Church, Hermann, with Father Philip Niekamp officiating.
Burial will be at St. George Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
