William "Bill" Giles Barr, 74, of New Haven, MO, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home. 

Bill was born in Mason City, Washington on April 1, 1943, a son of the late Walter & Alura (Winnett) Barr.

He was the husband of Kathy (Bohoskey) Barr.   They were married on October 26, 1968, in Yakima, Washington.   Kathy survives at the home.

Bill is also survived by his three children, Brian Barr & wife Carolina, of Bellingham, Washington;  Christine Thomas & husband Steve, of Washington, Missouri; and Carolyn Johnston & husband David, of Alice Springs, Australia; by his step-mother, Joyce Barr, of Marysville, Washington, a sister, Susan Bennett & husband Fred, of Yakima, Washington. a brother, Kerry Barr, of Bisbee, Arizona; and by his grandchildren,  Alura, Isaac,  & Emma Thomas, Liam & Charles Barr and Taryn, Ava, & Zachary Johnston.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Bill worked as a construction project manager in both residential and commercial construction.   He was a born again spirit filled Christian.

In his free time he enjoyed going for walks, playing baseball and golf and coaching his kids in sports when they were young.  He loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners play, and also watching classic western movies, especially John Wayne.
