Verus "Junior" R. Eldringhoff, 68, of Berger, MO, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.
Junior was born in Washington, Missouri on May 1, 1951, a son of the late Verus Fredrick & Rita Agnes (Elsenraat) Eldringhoff.
He was the husband of Elizabeth "Beth" (Rucker) Eldringhoff. They were united in marriage on May 27, 1972, at St. George Church, Hermann, MO. Beth survives at the home.
Junior is also survived by their two sons, Mark Eldringhoff & wife Christine and Michael Eldringhoff & wife Amber, all of Berger, by four sisters, Judy Keller, of Jefferson City, Missouri; Vera Hall & husband John, of Texas; Janet Strizel & husband Pat, of Springfield, Missouri; and Donna Joerling, of Washington, Missouri; by nine grandchildren, Dylan, Tessa, Kaylee, Karlie, Markus, Kole, Kruz, Lucas, and Kendrix Eldringhoff, one great granddaughter, Scout Schneider, and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son Timothy, who died in infancy.
Junior served in the National Guard. He was a member of St. George Church, Hermann, and the Hermann Eagles. He was a farmer. He also was the co-owner of El-Rio Tile for several years and also worked at MFA in Hermann for many years.
In his free time he enjoyed working outdoors and hunting. He also liked hotrods and cars and he loved figuring out any way he could to make a buck.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 30th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley officiating.
