Vernon H. Hoemann, 89, of New Haven, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Vernon was born in New Haven, Missouri on December 3, 1927, a son of the late Alfred & Charlotte (Poeppelmeyer) Hoemann.

He was the husband of Minerva M. (Juedemann) Hoemann. They were united in marriage on October 8, 1950, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven. 

Vernon was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven.  He was a farmer and also worked at American Recreation in New Haven for several years.   Vernon enjoyed farming, spending time with his children and grandchildren, gardening and playing the harmonica.

Vernon is survived by his wife Minerva, of the home, by four daughters, Kathryn Straub  & husband Charles; Donna Wolfe & husband Virgil;  Linda Angell & husband Steve; & Carrie Eggers & husband James, all of New Haven, by a sister, Ruth Meyer, of New Haven, by six grandchildren, Amy Ruediger & husband Bryan, of New Haven; Jaime Hoener & husband Josh, of New Haven; Kyle Wolfe & wife Erica, of Washington; Mandy Seitter & husband Chad, of New Haven, Brent Eggers & friend Brooke Kluba, New Haven and Blake Eggers, of New Haven, and by 11 great grandchildren. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roscoe Hoemann, and a granddaughter Leisha Ryno.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, with Rev. David Poe officiating. 

Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. Peters U.C.C. or New Haven Care Center.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
