Carol,
Jon and I wish to extend our sympathy to you. I still remember your dad explaining to me why you were no longer inviting me to do something with you on a weekend. He said something to the effect that your interests now lay east of New Haven rather than west. I also remember how Tom tricked you so that he could get you to your surprise bridal shower on time. I'm sure you have many memories, too, and I hope they sustain you at this time.

Carol,
Mae and I send our sympathy at your loss. Tom always had a nice smile and was such a talented man. I don't remember that I ever saw his carvings but I'll bet he was influenced by your Dad and carved now and then with Snakey Dietrich.
