Steven Jeffrey Simon

Steven Jeffrey Simon, 65, of Hermann, MO, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Washington,  Missouri. 

Steve was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 24, 1953, a son of the late Elmer Simon & Betty J. (Johnson) Bruns.

He was the husband of Linda D. (Coon) Simon.  They were united in marriage in September of 1988, in Hermann, Missouri.  Linda survives in Hermann.

Steve is also survived by their daughter, Carissa Simon & fiance' Blair Hix, of The Woodlands, Texas; by his sister, Chris Maloney & husband Bob Belden, of Westminster, Colorado; by two nephews, Sean Maloney & James Maloney & wife Rebecca, by a great nephew, Theo Maloney, and by his granddog, Bella.

Steve was a musician & music producer and played in several bands, including The Action, Wave, and ReActions.  He also owned and operated several restaurants, Rivers Edge, Simon's on the Water Front, and Simon's Blues Cafe.  He enjoyed playing and producing music.  He also enjoyed cooking, being on the river, and having a good time. He was a member of the Hermann Eagles.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to personally thank, Paul Noelke, Jeff Schmidt, and Ray Radtke for being true friends to Steve.
