Rose Rita Terese Hallemann, 87, of New Haven, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at New Haven Care Center.
Rose Rita was born in New Haven, Missouri on November 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Fred H. & Marie A. (Ruch) Hallemann.
Rose Rita was a member of Assumption Church, New Haven. She was a teacher for most of her life and that was what she enjoyed. She has a Masters in Special Education and taught both elementary and secondary grades at various schools around the country. In her later years taught elementary grades at Assumption in New Haven and St. Francis Borgia in Washington, from which she retired. She loved to travel, read and spend time with family and friends.
Rose Rita is also survived by a brother Anthony Hallemann & wife Joleen, of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister Mary Lou McDonald & husband Raymond, of New Haven, Missouri; a brother Fred Hallemann & wife Kay, of Nashville, Tennessee; a sister Margaret James, of Washington, Missouri; a sister Virginia Holzem & husband Steve, of Washington, Missouri; a brother Raymond Hallemann, of New Haven, Missouri; and a sister Elizabeth "Carrol" Klingsick & husband Charles, of Warsaw, Missouri; a sister-in-law Helene Hallemann, of Palm Harbor, Florida, and by nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, by two brothers Robert & Leo Hallemann, a sister-in-law Jerri Hallemann and a brother-in-law Lonnie James.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 7th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, with memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, New Haven, Missouri, with Father John Deken officiating.
