Robert "Bobby Joe" Laune, Jr.

Robert "Bobby Joe" Laune, Jr., 75, of New Haven, MO, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri. 

Bob was born in Washington, Missouri on April 10, 1943, a son of the late Robert J. Sr. & Clara  Mary (Borgerding) Laune.

He was the husband of Judy (Speckhals) Laune.   They were united in marriage on July 21, 1973 at St. Paul Church, Berger, Missouri.  Judy survives at the home.

He is also survived by their two sons, Robert Laune III & wife Tracy, of New Haven, and Steven Laune & wife Briana, of New Haven, by four grandchildren, William, Lyla, Mason, and Tessa Laune, by three sisters, Dorothy Kuhlmann, of Wentzville; Geraldine Laune (Tony), of Chesterfield, Missouri; and Mary Audrey Laune, of New Haven, and by a brother, Paul Laune, Sr. (Sue), of New Haven.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Roberta Zeitzmann.

Bob was a member of Assumption Church, of New Haven, and the Knight of Columbus.  He has worked for Metal Craft, American Recreation Products, Kellwood, and New Haven Manufacturing.  In his free time he enjoyed wood working, gardening, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 12th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.

Funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Church, with Father John Deken officiating. 

Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery,  New Haven.  Memorials may be given to Masses, Franciscan Mission, or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
