Richard "Rick" L. Hessler

Richard L. "Rick" Hessler, age 62, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his residence in Hermann, Mo.

Rick was born February 9,1956 in St. Louis, Missouri,  he was the son of Arthur & Loretta (Hanrahan) Hessler.

He was the husband of Laura Louise (Yanker) Hessler.  They were united in marriage on October 18, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Laura survives him.

Rick was a self-employed contractor in the St. Louis Area, where he did residential construction.  He also owned and operated the Vinchester Inn in Hermann.

Rick is survived by his father, Arthur Hessler, of St. Louis; by his wife Laura, by three daughters, Hannah Hessler & husband Miles James; Lindsey Hessler; and Madison Hessler, all of St. Louis; by two brothers, Kris Hessler & wife Denise, of St. Charles, Missouri; and Eric Hessler, of DeSoto, Missouri; and by three sisters, Micki Vancil & husband Mike, of DeSoto, Missouri; Karen Smith & husband Andy, of St. Charles, Missouri; and Sandy Short, of DeSoto, Missouri.  He is preceded in death by his mother, and a sister Kim Hessler.

Services are pending at this time.  A memorial service will be held and announced at a later date.
