Ralph James Pottebaum, 73, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home. 

Ralph was born in Starkenburg, Missouri on August 13, 1943, a son of the late Antone Lambert & Laura Rose (Koenig) Pottebaum.

Ralph was the husband of Sharon (Roll) Pottebaum.   They were married on October 22, 1984, at Hermann Christian Church.

Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He was a vet tech at the Hermann Vet Clinic for over 20 years.  He also worked at Home Inc. and Zero Manufacturer. 

Ralph is survived by his wife Sharon, by three sons Anthony Pottebaum & wife Laura, of Labadie, Missouri; Michael Pottebaum & wife Kris, of Hermann; and Jamie Oelschlaeger, of Montgomery City, and a daughter Melissa Winkelmann & husband Harvey, of Iowa, by seven grandchildren,  a brother, Cyril Pottebaum & wife Diane, of Hermann, and by nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, by a brother Lawrence Pottebaum & a sister Alice Kleinheider.
