Pearl M. Schaumberg, 94, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.
Pearl was born in Hermann, Missouri on March 20, 1925, a daughter of the late George & Julia (Roetheli) Mueller.
She was the widow of Harold O. Schaumberg. They were united in marriage on February 26, 1949 in Hermann. Harold preceded her in death on March 31, 1991.
Pearl was an member of St. George Church, Hermann, where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality and the church choir. She was also a member of the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary. Pearl worked for many years at St. George School as the school secretary. She took great pride in working there. She truly loved being with the elementary age kids and cared for them deeply.
She was delighted in being a grandma and loved having her grandkids near her. One of her passions was water aerobics, as she went to the Lost Valley Lake pool three times a week for many years. Pearl enjoyed life, she loved to entertain, play cards, and sing with Harold in the church choir.
Pearl is survived by a daughter, Judy Gloe & husband John, of Lenexa, Kansas; a son, Jim Schaumberg & wife Tammy, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, by six grandchildren, Meghan, Tyler, Jared, Emma and Dana, and Marley and one great grandchild, Kaine. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by two brothers, Herbie & Elmer Mueller, and two sisters, Marie Lause and Linda Himmelberg.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
A funeral mass will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Church, with Father David Means officiating.
Burial will be at St. George Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hermann Hospital or St. George School. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
