We are sorry to hear of Millie's passing. She and Raymond were supportive surrogate parents to many young people. Those of us far away used to think she should have spelled her name Millie "Write" as she kept us in touch with friends and acquaintances for many decades. She was a loving and true friend and will be greatly missed.

Millie was a lot of sunshine. She would walk 6th street every morning if the weather was good. Always had a smile and a pleasantry if we met. May she rest in peace!

My wonderful God Mother who "saved my life" when I was a new born. Gracious and kind. Glad to have visited with her 2 weeks ago. Will miss her and her sharp wit.
