Mildred Julia Wright, 96, of Hermann, MO, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Mildred was born in Henrietta, Missouri on February 12, 1921, a daughter of the late Albert & Ida (Twyman) Wohlt.

She was the widow of Raymond Buell Wright.  They were united in marriage on December 21, 1946 in Gasconade, Missouri.   Raymond preceded her in death on March 14, 1997.

Mildred was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann, where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship.  She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #315 of Hermann, a life member and past president of Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 4182, Blue Springs American Legion Post 499 Auxiliary and Hermann Eagles 1328 Auxiliary.  She worked for both Florsheim & International Shoe Company as a top stitcher for 35 years.

Mildred loved helping with church and V.F.W. activities and she was a excellent seamstress.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, by two brothers George & Albert Wohlt and a sister Alberta Elsenrath.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Rodger Kiepe officiating. 

Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to St. Paul U.C.C. or Gasconade Cemetery.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
