Mildred E. Brandt, 83, of Hermann, MO, passed away Friday December 22, 2017, at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge.

Mildred was born in Senate Grove, Missouri on May 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Louis & Edna (Rohlfing) VonBehren.

She was the widow of Ralph Brandt.   They were united in marriage on September 24, 1955, at Senate Grove United Methodist Church, Senate Grove.  Ralph preceded her in death on March 5, 2006.

Mildred was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Hermann.  She worked for many years as a cook for Loutre Cafe & Lyndee's Restaurant, she also was a devoted Housewife and widely known for her sewing abilities.

Mildred is survived by a son, Glenn Brandt & wife Carol, of Hermann; and two daughters, Carol Schluss & husband  Walter , of Hermann; and Lynn Roetemeyer & husband Scott, of Hermann; and by five grandsons, Michael, Gregory, & Caleb Brandt, Craig & Jeremy Schluss , and one sister Selma Holtgrewe of New Haven.

She was preceded in death by a sister Lorene Brandt and two brothers Louis  & Harvey VonBehren . Sister- in-laws Alice Rohlfing, Elda Bredemeyer, & Helen Brandt, Brother-in-laws Ralph Rohfling, Lawrence Bredemeyer, Harold Brandt, Melvin Holtgrewe & Victor Brandt. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday  from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 .

Burial will be at Loutre Island Cemetery, McKittrick.  Memorials may be given to St. Paul's U.C.C. or Gore Case Community Club.  C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
